Setting up Netscape Mail to receive e-mail
or Just checking your settings


1.  Open Netscape Messenger and click on the "Edit" menu.  Choose "Preferences".

2.  Click on "Identity" on the left and fill in the "Your name" and "Email address" fields.

to check your settings click on "Mail Servers" Step 3.

3.  Click on "Mail Servers" on the left.

4.  Fill in the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server" mail.twmba.net.
The "Outgoing mail server user name" fields.  can be left blank

To check your settings

  • Click on the entry in the "Incoming Servers" window
    it's blank the diadram below.
  • Then click on Edit (properties)
  • Then jump to step 8.

      5.  Click the "Add" button to add an incoming mail server.

      6.  Fill in your "Server Name" mail.twmba.net

      7.  Select   POP3 Server   as your "Server Type" by clicking the little arrow to the right of the field.

      8.  If you don't want to enter your password each time you check your mail, click the "Remember password" box.  After you enter your password the first time, it will be entered automatically from then on.

      9.  If you would like Messenger to automatically check for new messages periodically, click the "Check for mail every ____ minutes".

      10.  Click the "OK" button to save your Mail Server settings.

      11.  Click the "OK" button again to save your Preferences.
